BUSHMANS guarantee, with no pro-rata, is to repair or replace (at our discretion), any defect or fault in a BUSHMANS water tank that is caused by our manufacturing process for a period of ten (10) years from the date of original purchase, provided the tank has been correctly installed according to instructions provided by BUSHMANS.
BUSHMANS also guarantee, with no pro-rata, to repair or replace (at our discretion), any defect or fault in other products, including molasses tanks and industrial tanks for ten (10) years, underground tanks for seven (7) years, ag-products for five (5) years and all other products for five (5) years, if failure is caused by our manufacturing process, provided
the product is being used for its intended purpose.
1. The GUARANTEE ACTIVATION FORM must be completed and returned to BUSHMANS within 30 days of tank delivery. The form is supplied at tank purchase or is available on BUSHMANS website.
2. The guarantee is granted to the original purchaser and is transferable to any heirs or successors in title thereof, provided that the tank is located on the original site or relocated from the original site by BUSHMANS, which will be at the owner’s expense.
3. The guarantee is limited to the repair or replacement of the tank only, at the sole discretion of BUSHMANS.
BUSHMANS is not liable for any consequential losses including loss of profits or damage to property or any other associated costs that may occur when repair or replacement of the tank is carried out. Repair work is undertaken at ground level, so tanks that are located on stands must be brought down to ground level before BUSHMANS can commence repair work.
Note that expenses such as landscaping, plumbing, electrical, costs of lifting equipment and hire of additional labour are at owner’s expense. Bringing tanks down from stands for repair work is also at the owner’s expense.
4. The guarantee does not apply to the tank colour which may in time fade or change.
5. The guarantee applies to the one piece polyethelene structure of the tank and does not extend to fittings such as the strainer, outlet, valve, tap, overflow or any other fittings.
6. The guarantee on water tanks is for the storage of water only, at a water temperature of 23o C.
7. The guarantee on water tanks is for storage of water on the site only. Transporting water in water tanks voids the guarantee.
8. The guarantee is void and will not be binding upon BUSHMANS in the event of damage to unsecured tanks through blowing away; or by abuse, improper installation, unsound base, or unauthorised modifications to the tank.
Note that all installation instructions must be followed and in particular the fitting of flexible hose.
9. BUSHMANS must be notified of any defect or fault (using attached claim form) within seven (7) days of it occurring. BUSHMANS must be given the opportunity to inspect the tank within twenty-eight (28) days of such notification, otherwise the guarantee is void.
10. The guarantee is void in the event of damage due to war, riot, civil commotion or terrorist activities. The determination and/or application of this clause remains solely at the discretion of BUSHMANS.
